6 Day Burke and Wills Tour Itinerary

DAY 1 - North Adelaide- Broken Hill

7.00am pick up from The O'Connell Inn, North Adelaide. Head north to Broken hill, stay and relax for the evening.

DAY 2 - Broken Hill - Pincally Station

Next morning, explore the art galleries, movie sets and sculptures of Broken Hill. Second night's accommodation at Pincally Station. 

DAY 3 - Pincally Station - Tibooburra - Cameron Corner

Rise to an outback breakfast. Drive to Tibooburra, explore the town before lunch. In the afternoon, head north to Cameron Corner where the three states- SA, QLD and NSW meet, through the wonderful and ever-changing landscapes of the Sturt National Park. Relax and stay the night. 

DAY 4 - Cameron's Corner - Innamincka

Pick your state where you will have breakfast and a morning walk in the Outback! Back on the road after breakfast, the tour will head north through Nappa Merrie Station, one of the Kidman family's chain of cattle stations, and onto the site of the famous Dig Tree. The tour will proceed to Cooper Creek and onto the Innamincka Hotel for the night.

DAY 5 - Innamincka - Parachilna

Breakfast on the Cooper Creek, before heading down the famous Strzelecki Track. This will be your chance to meet some of the unique Outback characters. The tour will then cross the Old Ghan Railway Track, and onto the famous outback pub, The Prairie Hotel in Parachilna, South Australia.

Day 6 - Prairie Hotel - Adelaide

After an outback breakfast to be remembered at the iconic Prairie Hotel, the last day will start by exploring the majestic Flinders Ranges, and the wonderful surrounding gorges. Spot the Yellow-Footed Rock Wallabies and enjoy the stunning scenery of Wilpena Pound. The tour will then head south, through Hawker, and onto Jamestown for lunch. Spend the afternoon sampling world-class wines in the renowned Clare valley wine region, before you arrive at the last stop, The O'Connell Inn, Adelaide, where the tour concludes.
