9 Day Adelaide To Perth Nullarbor Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Adelaide - Coffin Bay

After an early pick-up from the O'Connell Inn, North Adelaide at 6.30am, the tour will head to the Adelaide Airport and check in and fly to Port Lincoln, Eyre Peninsula, at 8.00am (45min flight). Once you arrive in Port Lincoln, you can explore the Port Lincoln National Park before settling down to a gourmet lunch on the beautiful harbour of Port Lincoln, next to the three times Melbourne Cup winner, Makybe Diva. In the afternoon, the tour will visit a tuna farm, exploring the tuna and fishing industry of Port Lincoln, before retiring for the night at the beautiful coastal town of Coffin Bay.

Day 2 West Coast of South Australia 

The next day, the tour will head along the spectacular west coast of South Australia. Here, you will search for seals, explore the national parks, marvel at the great beaches and indulge in fresh seafood for lunch, before arriving in the coastal town of Ceduna, home to the Wombat Rescue Centre.

Day 3 Nullarbor - Great Australian Bight

Next morning, the tour will head west along the great Nullarbor Plains, stopping at whale sites and beautiful coastal cliffs, including Thevenard, Denial Bay in South Australia. The tour will continue to Fowlers Bay for lunch, before heading to the Head of the Bight for a first look at the migrating Southern Right Whales. Relax for the night at the Nullarbor Roadhouse. (Optional: Scenic flight along the rugged cliffs of the Great Australian Bight to spot whales from the air).

Day 4 WA border - Balledonia

Next day, head to the Western Australian border, stopping at many beautiful lookouts along the way. Gourmet lunch will be provided at Border Village, before heading to Balledonia for the night.

Day 5 Balledonia - Esperance

The tour will begin on a dirt track, along the road to Cape LeGrand National Park. Explore the sites of Luck Bay, many islands, and other great beaches. Relax for the night at the coastal town of Esperance.

Day 6 Esperance - Mount Barker

The next morning, the tour will take an Island/wildlife half-day cruise, before heading to Mount Barker, Western Australia. Spend the day exploring the beautiful nature and coastline of William Bay and Elephant Rocks. After lunch, the tour heads west to Albany to visit Whale World, and then back to Mount Barker for the evening.

Day 7 Mount Barker - Margaret River 

Spend the morning marvelling at the big trees, and if you are game, climb the Glouster Tree. The tour will then continue to Cape Leeuwin, home of the great Cape Leewin Lighthouse, where the Southern and Indian Oceans meet. The tour will conclude for the day in popular town of Margaret River.

Day 8/9 Margaret River - Perth

On the last day, you can explore the town of Margaret River, famous for surf beaches and world class wineries. Morning tea will be spent at Brooklyn Valley Winery. Have a relaxing lunch of fish and chips on the longest jetty in the Southern Hemisphere at Busselton, before continuing onto Perth where the tour concludes.
